Navigating Burnout and Setting Boundaries Among Asian Patients

Event Date:

October 20, 2023

Event Time:

11:00 am

Why is burnout common for individuals of Asian descent? Why does it feel difficult to stop and establish boundaries, even if Asian patients are aware of the exhaustion? In what ways can treatment be modified to support Asian patients?

Anise‘s Director of Clinical Strategy, Jennifer Oh, will guide this free psychoeducational event, and Anise Health’s Head of Growth, Angel Wang will share more information about the impact of culturally-adapted care.

The purpose of this workshop will be to share educational resources for clinicians to better support and empower patients who identify as Asian, by reviewing evidence-based research about common stressors and trends associated with the Asian community. Furthermore, clinicians of Asian descent may also resonate with the discussion around burnout and boundary-setting, given the demands of the mental health profession.
