Moving Forward While Staying in Place: Understanding Social Media with Rose Mills

Event Date:

May 28, 2020

Event Time:

5:00 pm

In the new normal of a global pandemic, having the ability to market our services on social media is even more critical now for your practice, but it may feel uncomfortable for you. You don’t want to come across as insensitive and “sales-y”, and certainly don’t want to overstep ethical boundaries.

However, with more people spending time online searching for answers to their questions, looking for a sense of normalcy, and engaging with content that is genuine and supportive, if you’re there ready to provide the support they seek, you’re the one they will turn to and remember.

We invite Rose Mills, founder of Rose Mills Influencer, LLC, to share with you the steps you can take to improve your social media visibility for your practice, helping you discover your content topics and determine what social media platforms would be most useful for your business. If you’re looking for ways to expand your outreach and strengthen your connection with clients, then this is the perfect workshop for you.

Date: Thursday, May 28

Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm CDT

About the Speaker

Rose Mills is a corporate executive turned entrepreneur, and the founder of Rose Mills Influencer, LLC, a social media agency, dedicated to helping super-busy fempreneurs who are searching for ways to use social media effectively for their businesses.

Specializing in 1:1 coaching, Rose teaches clients to create their own social media strategy, putting purpose behind social media for their businesses, to engage their ideal customer, build community and move past the frustration of random posting, to thrive on social media.

While documenting her own challenges as a distance runner in support of her father’s journey in fighting stage 4 prostate cancer, Rose built her own personal brand on social media. Led by her tagline, “I run for my Dad – #StrongLikeBull”, she built a community of runners from all over the world who shared in her journey, and eventually caught the attention of nonprofit organization, ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer, where she now serves as an advocate and champion for the organization.

Rose understands that many small business owners, women especially, have their own beautiful stories to share on the journey of entrepreneurship. It’s her mission to help small businesses remove the overwhelming obstacles preventing them from showing up and thriving on social media, led by their powerful and inspiring stories.
