Workshop Description

Building a private practice is undoubtedly a big risk — but one that I would argue is absolutely worth taking! If you’ve been on the fence about whether it’s time to make the leap, or perhaps you recently leapt and are having some doubts, I encourage you to join us for this workshop.

Led by Vanessa Newton (she/her/ella), LCSW-S, CDWF, EMDR-Trained and Owner of Colors of Austin Counseling and Brave and Well, we’ll explore what it really takes to build an inclusive mental health practice while also honoring your needs and emotional capacity.

This 60-minute workshop will begin with an honest, practical, and no-nonsense overview of what really is needed to set yourself up for success. Vanessa will share her trusted methods, as well as those really worth the investment.

Starting a business venture can feel lonely. May this workshop remind you of your own innate wisdom and the power found in community.

  1. Learn the key elements of building a sustainable, profitable and values aligned private practice.
  2. Explore misconceptions you have about opening a private practice.
  3. Learn marketing strategies and identify your top 3 efforts.
