Sing, sound & speak your truth with confidence in this playful workshop. Learn healthy vocal technique, ground and center with a sound meditation, express different intentions/emotions as you sing freedom songs from different traditions, and connect with others in this fun, playful workshop. All levels welcome, including beginners, shy people, those with trauma around their voices, and experienced singers. Everyone will benefit and have fun!

About the Speaker

Phoenix Song (they/them) is a queer, non-binary Korean American adoptee teacher, performer and healer featured in SF Magazine’s Best of the Bay for yoga music. They are a Tamalpa Associate Teacher of expressive arts and a somatic voicework teacher, the Lovetri Method,®  They have performed and taught at Esalen, SF International Arts Festival, UC Berkeley and Santa Cruz, Queer and Asian Conference, SF Pride mainstage, Empowering Women of Color Conference, and more.

Phoenix believes that everyone can sing and loves to help people free their voices and rhythm in private and group classes. They also lead ancestral healing, grief, and diversity/solidarity workshops and trainings that use expressive arts and somatic processes.
