Workshop Description
Building a profitable and sustainable private practice is not something they teach you in grad school. You are putting a lot of energy and resources into building a business and you deserve to get paid, clients deserve high quality care and you don’t have to do it while becoming a martyr to your business.
Led by Vanessa Newton (she/her/ella), LCSW-S, CDWF, EMDR-Trained, Owner of Colors of Austin Counseling and Brave and Well, we’ll discuss ways to build a profitable practice that honors the person in the therapist, builds in accessible care to clients and gives you the flexibility to diversify your income in an effort to reduce burnout.
This 60-minute workshop will begin with an exploration of your own money story and how it may play out in your business so that you don’t grow resentful of the business you are investing so much into. Vanessa will share practical strategies for how she has gone on to save and ultimately launch her now 7 figure group practice and why paying yourself FIRST matters!
