In this 2-part workshop series, we invite Katy Osborn, co-founder of Amelia Street Studio and Executive Producer of Head to Head documentary, to take us through the principles of creativity and branding, so that you have the tools to understand your practice as a business and better serve your clients.

Part 1: Three Easy Steps to Creativity

In therapy and in business, creativity drives innovation, which forges opportunities to better connect with and meet the needs of clients and customers. In the first part of the workshop series, Katy will introduce the creative principles that can help open one’s mind to new possibilities and connections. Learn what is creativity and why it’s important, particularly as mental health professionals. We’ll go through the three easy steps to creativity and innovation, and apply those principles to help build your practice.
Part 2: Your Brand, Your Identity
Friday, August 7
12pm – 1pm CDT
In the second part of the workshop series, Katy will help us understand what is Brand Identity, and why it is important, even if you are a solo practitioner. This workshop will take you through exercises to understand who you are and who you want to serve, then create an identity that fits. Learn how to build trust with your brand, so you can forge new ways to authentically connect with your clients.
About Katy Osborn
Katy Osborn co-founded Amelia Street Studio with her two sisters, a creative agency that helped women-owned businesses with design and branding projects. Katy is a 12-year veteran of the branding, advertising and marketing industry, specializing in business development, strategy, copywriting and creative conception. As the executive producer of a documentary film about identity, mental health and beauty, Katy understands the importance of creative marketing to attract a broader audience for greater social impact. Currently, she is launching a new creative endeavor, Nowhere Collective, with a mission of shifting our consumer culture to one that centers planet, people and progress.
