We are excited to announce our first ever in-person event, hosted by our very own Sarah Hormanski!
We will be hosting a paint and sip night inspired by Bob Ross on Thursday, March 31st! We do want to keep this a safe event, so we will be requiring folks to be fully vaccinated and masked, in addition to a 20 person capacity. Refreshments (we will be making mocktails), snacks and supplies will be provided. Come in your best Bob Ross inspired painting clothes.
Come hangout, meet some new friends, and get your creative juices flowing!
The event will be held at our office, located at 661 West Lake St, Ste 2S, Chicago, IL 60661 . Details on how to get here will be provided upon registration.
With the recent devastation to Ukraine, we would like to add the option to donate funds to help support Ukrainians with Disabilities. This is optional, but greatly appreciated. We will be donating proceeds to Fight for Right, that is helping Ukrainians with disabilities protect themselves during emergency situations.
About the Host
Sarah Hormanski
Pronouns: They/Them/Theirs
Sarah joined the Chicago Minds community because they believe in the mission of creating resources for therapists who have/want supportive individual practices. They are a multidisciplinary artist – using a wide range of mediums from textiles, clay, photography, etc. They also identify with the local mutual aid community, where they find strong caring and passionate energy. They look forward to finding ways to make mental health resources more accessible for individuals and communities that need them.
Sarah’s favorite quote: “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We much love each other and support each other. WE have nothing to lose but our chains.” ~ Assata Shakur
