Peer Support for BIPOC Clinicians in Chicago

According to the American Psychological Association…

in 2015, 86% of psychologists in the U.S. workforce were White, 5% were Asian, 5% were Hispanic, 4% were Black/ African-American, and 1% were multiracial/ from other racial/ethnic groups. Compared to the racial/ ethnic composition of the U.S. population as a whole, BIPOC clinicians are grossly underrepresented. We recognize an imperative need for BIPOC clinicians to have a strong support system, a space where you can feel safe to share your vulnerabilities and heal.

Join Us

We are part of a BIPOC clinician support group in Chicago to promote unity and foster a supportive community for BIPOC clinicians in the Chicago area. We welcome mental health therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, dietitians, and others in allied fields. Our peer support group will meet monthly in a virtual space, and members should feel safe to use the group forums to hold regular discussions.

If you would like to be added to the peer support group, please fill in the form below.
